Latchford is the location of our South Warrington congregation. Situated close to the Manchester Ship Canal, Latchford has historically been a place for larger and smaller vessels to moor and then to navigate inland, using the various locks that filtered the different vessels for their onward destinations. It was for gathering and sending.
In a similar way, our Latchford congregation has been the gathering, sending and resourcing church for our Lymm congregation and for our Sankey congregation.
Latchford also boarders the Warriginton area of Westy, which is a home for the Eden project, the River Cafe, the Life Church Community Cafe, and where the Life Church offices are based. It is also the location of Warrington Town FC, which has the active support of many within our congregations!
